The details
Every fact comes with what it means, so you don’t need to play to follow along.
What’s in the set
- Tiles
- 160
- American mahjong is played with 152 tiles. The other 8 are extras.
- Jokers
- Included

- Blank tiles
- 6
- Plain spare tiles. Some groups use them in house-rule games.
- Flower tiles

How they look
- Color
- Lemon Drop
- Also comes in Strawberry Sangria and Tangerine Twist.
- Back
- Yellow, jelly
- The side the other players see. See-through and tinted, like colored glass. It looks the same either way up, so a tile never shows upside down.

- The style of the pictures on the tiles. New artwork in a fresh style.
- Theme
- Ocean
- What the artwork is about.
- Dragons
- Seahorse pictures, no label

- Joker pictures
- Cart and Zebra
- The picture on the joker tiles.
- 1 Bam
- Flamingo
- The first bamboo tile. Most brands draw it as a bird.
- Build
- 2 layers
- Made of 2 layers bonded together, which shows as stripes along the side.
